“Jordan and Yan are everything you would even want in trainers and more. Even after my first initial call with them, hiring them was a no-brainer. You can immediately tell how passionate, educated, and thorough they are when it comes to their process. Before we worked with them, our pup was constantly getting sick from eating things he shouldn’t, not listening to the rules we were trying to implement in the household, not behaving on walks, and even had some separation anxiety. Many tears were shed, even though he is a great dog. We just could not crack the code to some of his behavioral issues. I was NOT a fan of prong and e collars. I actually believed it to be inhumane and unkind. Until I saw how these tools can effectively and HUMANELY correct unwanted behavior. Which In turn opened up the life of our pup. Allowing for more freedom …. Building her confidence and allowing her to be a part of even more outings with her human fam. Regarding tools used, specifically the prong collar and e-collar, they are exactly that – tools. There is an ongoing discourse about how you should train your dog, but at the end of the day it’s about what works for you and your dog, not anyone else. For us, Frankie absolutely required a balanced approach that incorporated these tools. His anxiety and fear were so great at times that he refused his favorite treats, so a training program founded on treats and rewards alone was never going to work for us. Before expanding my knowledge on these tools, I also had reservations that I would somehow harm my relationship with my dog if I used them, but the opposite is true. Ever Forward will provide a plan that incorporates the correct usage of these tools and allow you to flourish as a trainer with your dog.”
